I use two of these cables to get an audio signal from my PC to an Amp on the other side of the house. It is for playing a purple martin dawnsong on Windows media player from 6AM to 9AM on outdoor speakers near the bird houses in hopes of attracting the Martins.NO I wouldn't use these in my home theater and I wouldn't run 100 feet of low impedance wire and not expect some hum and signal loss.Great cables for a dime a foot. Reasonable quality for the cost.
This cable was cheap.which was the only reason I bought it. The only disadvantage to this cable is that you can hear some static when nothing is playing. I needed something to hook my computer up to my stereo system across the room, and this has worked. When I first got it, one of the ends was bent, so I took a pliers to it and now everything fits. Once music starts, it sounds great. I am satisfied with this purchase, and would buy another if I ever needed one.
Cheap RCA cables get distorted signals when run long ways. I found that out with these. Spend an extra $10 and get shielded wire.
NOTE: The white rca is actually black if that makes a different. But awesome.
This cable is well constructed and served well on the longer distance needed in my set-up.
